AL
NIEMAN
Red Roan(?) Colt out of Chickanita Dart |
Also
Chickanita Dart has foaled a beautiful colt this morning,
(shown below) should be a red roan, but looks sorrel
right now. This colt is owned by Al Nieman in Perris,
California. Chick is 23-years-old now and she has given
us two outstanding colts by Herbie. Congrats Al on another
good one! Chickanita Dart has been given to us by Al
Nieman. "Chick" will remain at Rick Edney Cutting
Horses for the rest of her life. She will remain in foal
to Herbie as long as she can, then retire to pasture
as a companion for the foals. Al Nieman is ill right
now so for our love of Al, we have named her 2008 fancy
colt after him; "Pour Me One For Al." This
colt will be seen in the show pen and we know Al will
be watching him. We love you Al!
UPDATE:
We've decided not to beat around the bush. A great colt
deserves a great name. So with that, "Pour Me One
For Al" is going
to be named "Al Nieman" after our good friend. This
colt also has a belly spot so he will be APHA Registered too.
Thanks, Al, for everything.
